More Denver Development on Top LoHi Corner- 32nd and Tejon

March 10, 2016

Two months ago, on January 13, 2016, Trammell Crow purchased the 115 year old retail building on .8 acre lot for $5.85 million.  The construction is going to begin this summer to build 106 apartments named The Alexan LoHi. The new development will also have 10,000 square feet of retail space and 52,000 square feet for parking.  Interested to see if any of the

The Alexan apartments seem to be popping up in all the hot Denver locations- Sloans Lake (between 15th and 16th and Raleigh) looks to be finishing up construction, Cherry Creek (Ellsworth and Cook, Uptown (19th and Logan) and in Englewood (Hampden and Santa Fe Drive).

The specific apartments on 32nd and Tejon will be 1 and 2 bedroom with balconies- no communal rooftop deck.  Each one bedroom unit will have 1 parking spot and most 2 bedroom units will have 2 parking spots.  While the entire brick building will be demolished and a completely new building to take it’s place,  there is a rumor that they will try to save the Henry Dickinson mural (pictured below on left side) from the building and use it somewhere on the interior of the building.
